CatWrangler — Beta Program Supplemental Terms

These Beta Program Supplemental Terms ("Beta Terms") supplement the CatWrangler [Terms of Service](/policies/terms) (the "Terms") and apply to your access to and use of the Service during the Beta Period. If these Beta Terms conflict with the Terms, the Beta Terms control during the Beta Period. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms.

By clicking "I agree" during signup, or by using the Service during the Beta Period, you accept these Beta Terms in addition to the Terms.

1. The Beta Period

"Beta Period" means any period during which we designate the Service, your account, or a feature as beta, preview, early access, or evaluation. The Beta Period for your account ends when we announce general availability for your plan or convert your account to a standard paid subscription, whichever comes first.

2. The Service Is a Beta. Nothing Is Guaranteed.

The Service is under active development. It is provided "as is" and "as available," with no warranties, no availability target, no SLA, and no support-response commitments of any kind. The exclusions for beta services in the Service Availability Policy apply. Features may change, break, or be removed at any time without notice, and beta features may never become generally available. You use the Service during the Beta Period entirely at your own risk.

3. Your Data May Be Lost. Export and Back Up.

This is a real operational risk, not boilerplate: during the Beta Period, Customer Data — including source code, projects, decision graphs, and generated Output — may be modified, corrupted, or permanently deleted at any time, without notice. You are responsible for exporting your code and data regularly and keeping your own backups. The 30-day post-termination export window in Section 7.4 of the Terms is best-effort only during the Beta Period.

4. We May Suspend or End Access at Any Time

During the Beta Period we may suspend or terminate your access, or discontinue the beta program in whole or in part, at any time, for any reason or no reason, with or without notice. The 30-day cure period in Section 7.3 of the Terms does not apply during the Beta Period.

5. Fees

Unless an order form says otherwise, the Service is provided without charge during the Beta Period, and no payment obligations accrue.

6. Liability Cap

Notwithstanding Section 12.2 of the Terms, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service during the Beta Period will not exceed the greater of (a) the fees you actually paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to liability, or (b) US $100. The exclusions in Section 12.1 and the carve-outs in Section 12.3 of the Terms continue to apply.

7. Not for Production-Critical Use

We do not recommend relying on the Service, or on applications built with it, for production-critical workloads during the Beta Period. If you choose to do so anyway, you assume all associated risk.

8. Feedback

If you give us feedback, ideas, or suggestions about the Service, we may use them freely, without restriction, obligation, or compensation. Feedback is not your confidential information.

9. Non-Public Features

Non-public features, roadmap details, and pre-release materials we share with you during the Beta Period are our confidential information under Section 8 of the Terms.

10. Term of These Beta Terms

These Beta Terms expire automatically at the end of your Beta Period, after which the Terms alone govern. Sections 6 (Liability Cap, for events during the Beta Period), 8 (Feedback), and 9 (Non-Public Features) survive.
